Afraid to drink at first, she dipped her hand in the blood as it oozed from the wound, and brought it to her lips with a shaking hand.  She licked at it once.  Twice, then swallowed.  She could feel it working almost at once.  She licked her lips and fingers clean, then looked at him and smiled.
